Three Wise Men To The Rescue November 02, 2009 |
| Hi, November, the Christmas season is upon us again and with that a little extra stress. Has it always been like that? Or do we let ourselves be swept up in the madness of other peoples ideas? Just remember the joy of these holidays and a moment in time, thousands of years ago, when Three Wise Men carried gifts over the desert plains on their camels toward a promise of hope and renewal for the years to come. Stress is a relative issue, it's all how you perceive things and let others rule your world. Sit down and find quiet within yourself. Three Wise Men, Frankincense and Myrrh are the oils from Young Living that will well serve you these coming months. Read On. Yvonne Lewis

"3 Wise Men™ promotes feelings of reverence and spiritual awareness with a blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils formulated to open the subconscious. This blend, considered a gift by many, enhances emotional equilibrium as it soothes and uplifts the heart."
That's how it's written at the Young Living website. Now I open up my own bottle of 3 Wise Men and apply a drop to the palm of my left hand. I rub the middle finger of my right hand clockwise through the drop to warm up and energize the oil and apply it behind my ears and to the crown of the head. I rub the palms of my hands together and breathe in deeply the remaining oil. WOW! WOW WOW 3 Wise men has a very earthy, spiritual, woodsy aroma which I think perfect for a fragrance for men. I'm going to use this oil more at night and apply it before I go to Yoga. It is making me feel relaxed and calm. If you do not have the means to buy the separate oils of frankincense, myrrh and sandalwood, this may be your answer to wisely having all three in the house this year! How to use: For topical or aromatic use. Apply two drops on the crown of the head, behind the ears, over the eyebrows, on the chest, or at the base of the neck. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Dilution not required; suitable for all but the most sensitive skin. Generally safe for children over 2 years of age. Ingredients: Sandalwood (Santalum album), juniper (Juniperus osteosperma and J.scopulorum), frankincense (Boswellia carteri), spruce (Picea mariana) and myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) in a base of almond oil. 3) Myrrh, The Other Golden Resin
Did you know frankincense and myrrh are related?
They are both distilled from a golden resin that is collected by making small cuts in the burseraceae family of trees. I've been using myrrh a lot lately as it has excellent weight loss properties. (Click here to reference this particular use in a recent newsletter) Myrrh (Commipihora myrrha) has a rich, smoky, balsamic aroma that is purifying, restorative, revitalizing, and uplifting. Myrrh has one of the highest levels of sesquiterpenes found in essential oils. Sesquiterpenes are a class of compounds that have a direct effect on the hypothalamus, pituitary, and amygdala glands, therefore affecting many hormonal actions in our body. Some more uses: Diabetes, cancer, hepatitis, fungal skin infections, skin conditions (chapped, dry, wrinkles, stretch marks). I sincerely hope you will choose to add this oil to your collection one day. Its very special, very intense, very unique. Available through our store:
