Botanical Family: Burseraceae (frankincense and myrrh)

Frankincense Resin Origin: This essential oil is steam distilled from the gum/resin produced by a cut on the tree. It is harvested in Somalia, and recently in Oman.

Uses: A wonderful anti-depressant essential oil, very useful for meditation and a natural remedy for just about any complaint. Extremely versatile due to its unique composition.

How To Apply:

  1. Inhale by placing a drop or two in the palm of your hands, cup over your nose and mouth and sniff, sniff, sniff deeply.

  3. Apply to the skin. As always, the bottom of the feet are a very safe place to apply oils. For the mind, apply directly behind the ears and at the base of the neck. A drop or two is all that is needed.
