Lung and eye irritant. Household bleach is the most common cleaner accidentally swallowed by children. If mixed with ammonia or acid- based cleaners (including vinegar), releases highly toxic chloramine gas. - Basic Green Household Cleaner Spray
Safely dispose of your chemical window cleaner and keep the bottle. Fill with distilled or filtered water, leave room for a quarter cup of white vinegar. Add 10 drops of Lemon, 10 drops of Eucalyptus, 5 drops of Clove and 5 drops of Cinnamon essential oils. Finally add one squirt of dishwashing liquid, mix and you are done. Your green household product genie. GO CLEAN SOMETHING! - Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Take a 1lb. box of Baking Soda, put into plastic sealable container. Add 20 drops of either Lemon or Melaleuca essential oil and blend well (your green household product for scrubbing purposes). Sprinkle a quarter cup in the toilet bowl and scrub with brush as usual. Take about a cup of white vinegar and poor into the bowl. Bubbles and effervescence. Voila, a clean bowl. - Grout Cleaner
Mix 1 cup of baking powder with 1/3 cup of warm water and 10 drops of Lemon essential oil. Apply and scrub with fingernail brush. - Drain Opener
Poor 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar with 10 drops of Lemon essential oil into the drain. It will totally fizz up! Let sit for one hour and flush with a mixture of hot water and salt. May have to repeat. - Toilet Bowl Seat Back to the basic green household cleaner spray up top!
