    Adapting Raindrop Technique Therapy To Your Own Personal Needs

    If you have already seen the Raindrop Therapy dvd and kit you're familiar with the nine different oils which are applied to the back in a "layering" fashion.

    You use 2 to 4 drops of each oil and "feather" them along the spine giving each a moment to be absorbed and do their work.

    Performed this way Raindrop is a very intense treatment. Oils are used undiluted and a few, like oregano and thyme are quite "hot" feeling. So approach this treatment with caution and forethought. The French model of Aromatherapy is followed.

  • Do you take several medications? Use Valor first on the back and follow that with ONE single oil only . Perhaps marjoram or basil. That's it. Apply the warm towel and just let the two oils work their magic. You have some cleansing to do before you should graduate to a full treatment.

  • If you are under sixteen, (which is when the best work on scoliosis can be done) apply vegetable oil to the back first. This creates a barrier and oils will absorb much slower and up to 50 % less. Don't worry, with such a young skin and your body still growing you get plenty of benefits.

  • Here is another simplification: Forget about the nine Raindrop oils, choose three of your own liking. One of them can be a blend, and two singles. Apply those three oils Raindrop style.   • The quickest Raindrop on earth for time constraints: Apply in order to the spine or the feet only a few drops of Valor, Basil and Peppermint. Follow with a small amount of the Ortho Ease massage oil and you can be on your way for a protected day.

  • If you work with older people, or are a less mobile individual, apply some oils from the Raindrop Technique to the feet alone. They will find their way to where they are needed.
